Who is Stefanie Peters?

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal lord and Savior at age three and I’ve continued to grow in Him ever since. I was in Christian school until sixth grade when I asked my Mom to home school me. In ninth grade I went to a public school for the first time. Wow, has that been an eye opener! I’ve experienced many things that I never could have anywhere else. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to persevere even when everything inside of you says you can’t. I have strived to be an example of what a Christian is and how one acts at my high school and college . Even though I haven’t always been treated fairly, God helps me climb to the next level through the hard times.

Through it all I’ve gotten closer to God and tried to share the love of Christ with all the people I come in contact with. I’ve encountered different classmates in my school that were hurting, and it has been very fulfilling to reach out to them when they are open to God. It’s at those tough times that I’ve been used by the Lord, so I’ve tried to learn to be sensitive to the Spirit so I don’t miss the opportunities.

I am an enterprising and determined young woman. When people meet me, they often tell my parents that they have rarely met someone so young who is as determined or focused as I am. I feel like the Lord has called me to be a shining example of a godly woman, in leadership, showing the integrity and discipline to surge forward in life. The Lord has given me many gifts and now it’s my turn to glorify Him with them, in high school and college, but ultimately in life.

The Lord has put in my heart to be in business so I can further the gospel through funding the advancement of God’s kingdom, and to touch the heart of the people I come in contact with through my testimony and ethical business practices. Attending Normandale has been an amazing experience and I'm very excited about going to Costa Rica. I think it will be an incredible experience for me to grow and learn a lot.
